Young Alumni Impact Wall Signage

The Ten for Terry and Second Century Club presentations on the Young Alumni Impact Wall contain placeholders for assigning signage for display to the left of the scrolling text. The placeholder size is 949x741, which is the same resolution used by New Terry Digital Signage and therefore signage can be shared between the two presentations.

To add a new slide for displaying in this presentation, follow these steps:

  1. On the Presentations page, select Ten for Terry - 2-Column List or Second Century Club - 2 Column List. The presentation is displayed.

  2. Click the Graphic placeholder. A list of the presentation’s current slides is displayed.

  3. Click Add to display a dropdown menu of options.

  4. Click Image. A window is displayed with all saved content.

  5. Select the folder where your new slide is saved. For example, the current school year’s folder such as 2022-2023. The folder is displayed.

  6. Select the new slide in the folder. A checkmark is displayed over the file when selected.

  7. Click Select in the bottom-right corner of the window. The window closes and the slide is added to the list. The slide is always placed at the bottom of the list, but can moved by clicking the handle to the left of the filename and dragging it to the desired location.

  8. The Young Alumni Impact Wall uses the standard 10-second runtime for each slide before it moves on to the next one in the rotation, however you must set the dates for the slide to run. To do this, click 10s to the right of the filename. The Edit Playlist Item window is displayed.

  9. Uncheck the Show all the time checkbox. Unchecking it displays a link; it indicates that the slide will start running on the current date and run indefinitely. Unless the slide is intended to run indefinitely (this is uncommon but does occasionally occur), click the link to display the Edit Timeline window.

NOTE: If the slide is intended to run indefinitely, do not uncheck the Show all the time checkbox. Instead, click Cancel and continue at Step 13.

  10. Use the Start Date and End Date calendar fields to select the dates the signage should start and end. The slide will end at the end of the selected end date.

  11. Click Apply. The new start and end dates are now displayed on the Edit Playlist Item page.

  12. Click Apply. You are returned to the presentation. The slide is now ready for display.

  13. Click Save in the bottom-right corner to save the presentation.

  14. Click Publish in the bottom-right corner to publish the presentation. If the slide is scheduled to run today, it will begin running immediately. Otherwise it will run on its scheduled start date.
