Uploading PowerPoints to Kaltura

Saving slides as mp4

1. In Microsoft PowerPoint, go to “files”

2. Click on “Export”

3. Click on “File Format” and select “MP4”

4. Click on “Quality” and select “Presentation Quality”

5. Click on “export”

Uploading video on Kaltura

1. Using any internet browser go to “https://media.online.uga.edu/”

2. Click on “UGA Login” which is located on top right corner of the page.

3. Click on “Login”

4. Once you have logged in successfully, you should see “+ Add New” on top right corner. Click on it.  

5. Click on “Media Upload”

6. Drag and drop your mp4 video

7. Enter/change title of your video if you want

8. If you want to publish video then you can handle that from option “Publishing Status” which is on the same page where your video is being uploaded.

You may also upload videos directly to eLC following the steps below:

1. Log in to eLC

2. From the menu at top, select “Kaltura” and pull-down to click “My Media”. If a warning appears about the program accessing your media, then click through that.

3. At the right, click the button for “Add New” > “Media Upload”.
