Finding and Uploading Kaltura Local Videos

  1. Find your videos generated with Kaltura Personal Capture by navigating to the Kaltura Capture application’s folder:

Add your myid where highlighted in the paths below.

Windows

  1. Right click on the Kaltura Capture icon on the desktop.

  2. Select Properties.

  3. Click on 'Open File Location' and go up one folder to the 'Capture' folder.

Or simply go to: C:\Users\myid\AppData\Local\Kaltura\Capture\

Mac

  1. Go to the Finder.

  2. From the Go menu, select Go to Folder.

  3. In the form, enter ~/Library/Preferences/Kaltura/Capture/

  4. Click Go.

Or simply go to: /Users/myid/Library/Preferences/Kaltura/Capture/

 

2. Manually upload your videos to Kaltura via:

Option A: Navigate to elc.uga.edu > log in > Kaltura >My Media > Add New.

Use the browser to find the .mp4 files and upload them.

Option B: Navigate to http://media.online.uga.edu > “UGA LOGIN” > “Login” >”ADD NEW” > “Media Upload”.

Use the browser to find the .mp4 files and upload them.

Your videos will then be available in “My Media” which is connected to eLC.
