Editing Videos in Kaltura

Use to trim or clip media, and chop and splice media. See Kaltura’s Video Editing tools tutorial here.

1. Navigate to media.online.uga.edu and log in or log in to eLC and select Kaltura.

2. Go to My Media. 

   1. Select the pencil icon on the right side of video thumbnail

   2. Select Launch Editor.

      Open

      

   3. The Kaltura Editor window will then be displayed.

   4. Drag and drop the orange handles on the movie timeline to trim the beginning or ending of your video.

   5. If you are chopping the video in half or multiple parts, “Save as a Copy” so you can keep the original for future changes.

   6. Once trimmed or chopped, the video will be available in your My Media. It may take several minutes.
