Quiz IP Restrictions in ELC

It is possible to add IP restrictions to quizzes. Contact OIT to identify Athens and TEEC IP ranges. It is recommended to expand the range from 0 to 255 for the last 2 digits in each range.

In eLC, after you create a quiz, do the following:

  1. Navigate to the restrictions tab

  2. Scroll down to Optional Advanced Restrictions

  3. Update the IP Restriction (IPv4) fields with the ranges

  4. Save and close

Please note that students using the VPN remotely would also be able to access IP restricted quizzes. Our team could provide additional information if there was a concern or dispute.
