Zoom lecture using two devices

  1. Log into Zoom on the first device.

  2. Launch a meeting.

  3. Log into Zoom on your second device. You may see a button to switch devices or get a warning that lets you know you can’t be logged on two devices. Ignore those.

  4. On the second device, in Zoom, select “Join a Meeting.”

  5. Enter the meeting ID of the meeting you created in item #2. You may be prompted to claim Host or remain as a Co-Host. If you are presenting as the Host, mute the Co-Host log in (or vice versa). Now, when you click the Participants button you should see yourself as a Host and a Co-Host.

  6. Select which one of your devices you want to be spotlighted. This will broadcast that device to everyone and it will not switch screens if someone starts talking. You can remove this setting anytime and spotlight others if they are presenting.
